Can I put these in a van build?
Absolutely — the MODKIT system integrates seamlessly into van conversions. You can combine and modify drawers to suit any layout or storage requirement.

What materials do you use for the framing?
We use aerospace-grade 5020 aluminum for the frame, 6K carbon-fiber for the handles, carbon-filament 3D-printed components, and 316-grade stainless-steel hardware to ensure maximum strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight performance.

What is the maximum load capacity of each drawer?
Each MODKIT drawer rides on heavy-duty slides rated up to 250 lbs, so you can store and transport heavy gear without worry.

Are the drawers lockable?
Yes — every drawer includes an integrated locking mechanism to secure your contents and help prevent theft during transit or storage.

How do I secure the drawers to prevent rattling?
MODKIT drawers mount with precision-machined hardware and include anti-flocking tape at all contact points to further mitigate any noise. If you need setup tips, our team is happy to help.

Can I stack multiple drawers on top of or next to each other?
Yes — drawers are designed for both vertical and horizontal stacking, letting you build a custom storage configuration.

Do I need any special tools or expertise to install the MODKIT system?
No — installation requires only common hand tools. Typically all you’ll need are a few different sizes of Allen keys. We provide clear instructions, and our team is available for guidance if you run into any questions.

What finish and color options are available?
Standard units ship in matte-black powder coat. Raw-aluminum options are available on request.

What is the lead time and shipping process?
Every order is made-to-order: fabrication and powder coat typically take 6–8 weeks, and orders ship within 1–2 weeks from Southern California. Expedited shipping can be arranged—just ask. International shipping is currently not available.

Do you offer a warranty?
Absolutely. Any damage caused by normal wear and tear or accidents, we’ll try to repair at a reasonable cost. If the damage is deemed to be caused by a defect in manufacturing, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item at no cost to you.

How do I maintain and clean the MODKIT drawers?
Maintenance is simple: wipe aluminum surfaces and hardware with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh solvents or abrasives.

Can I customize the drawer configuration or add accessories?
Yes — we offer mounting brackets, MOLLE panels, and other accessories, and can discuss custom or bulk orders to tailor the system to your needs.
